IMMY Celebrates 3rd Anniversary

IMMY celebrates its 3rd anniversary this year. In the past 3 years we have traveled to 8 countries and provided training, mentoring and program design and development assistance to youth practitioners from more than 60 countries.

This year we will be focusing our efforts on helping President Obama's new Administration here in the United States rethink and reshape its response to the needs of marginalized youth in this country. In this regard, we are partnering with the Foundation for Youth Opportunities to host a National Youth Congress for Disconnected Youth in Washington, DC in the fall of 2009. The Youith Congress in intended to give out-of-school, at risk and marginalized youth the opportunity to help shape the policies that affect their lives.
